What you will do:

Lead, guide and direct management team and associates to meet or exceed operational goals, as well as monitoring daily performance providing coaching, counseling, and development

Manage and support logistics strategies, programs, and projects

Communicate policies to associates and act as the primary information source for the team, maintain compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures, federal and state labor laws, and OSHA and DOT regulations

Direct and ensue a high- level of service for internal/external customers

Achieve key operating and logistics performance goals, and financial plans and budget objectives; use and develop Key Performance Indicators to make ongoing improvements and enhancements

Engage direct reports as well as hourly staff daily

What you will bring:

High School diploma, 6 years Operations, Logistics, or Supply Chain, preferred

Strong ability to communicate effectively (written or verbally), with excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills to successfully respond to urgent situations

Must be highly organized and process-oriented

Ability to complete multiple tasks consistently and on time

Warehouse Management System experience

Ability to adapt and change processes to keep pace with the evolving business requirements

Solid understanding of Federal DOT, Safety and OSHA standards

Six Sigma/lean, Kaizen experience preferably in a distribution/warehouse environment

Bilingual in Spanish is preferred

Electrical part distribution preferred

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

Required to sit, speak, hear, read, type, use close and distance vision (about 5-8 hours per shift).

This position is in a normal office environment as well as a warehouse environment, with standard office equipment. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. while working in the office. The noise level in the warehouse environment is usually moderate, and temperature can change based on the season.

Work is generally non-sedentary in nature but may require sitting for up to 25% of the time.

Work hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm

Salary Range:

This is an exempt position that pays $83,800 - $114,000 annually. This salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, within California. The actual range of the role may differ based on the location of the role.
