Description Marriott San Diego is looking for an Executive Lounge Attendant that will deliver quick, efficient, and professional service to all guests. The Executive Lounge Attendant will be tasked with friendly, courteous and efficient quality presentation of food and beverage service to all guests in the Executive Lounge which caters to our Elite Guests and more. Clean and set up buffet and tables in the Executive Lounge and perform other food service related duties, including general cleaning and set up.
This position pays $21.30 per hour. This is a part-time position eligible for some benefits.
The applicant must be available to work a flexible schedule generally Monday - Friday from 5AM to 2PM. Must be available to work weekends and holidays for special events or as business needs dictate.

What Will I Be Doing?
Stocks and maintains supplies in all service areas
Inspects and prepares all service ware prior to use
Maintains current knowledge of all menu offerings, to include ingredients, preparation method, presentation, appearance and time required
Greets guests in a polite professional manner according to Marriott brand standards
Inspects presentation of all food items to ensure a quality product is delivered
Monitors guests at all times, anticipates needs, responds to requests, ensures satisfaction
Assists guest with recommendations, printing of boarding passes and/or other like concierge services
Clears soiled plates, service ware etc. from service areas and tables to dish wash area, sorts appropriately
Carries trays of food
Assists, as required, in preparation of served items
Maintains cleanliness and sanitary condition of all service and public areas
Performs all side work duties as assignedNotifies appropriate individual promptly and fully of problems and/or unusual matters of significance
Is polite, friendly, and helpful to guests, management and fellow employees
Complies with required safety regulations and procedures
Attends appropriate hotel meetings and training sessions
Complies with our uniform and grooming guidelines
Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
Food and Beverage experience is preferred
Must be able to multi-task in a busy environment, follow through on guest requests, ensure guest satisfaction, and work as a team player
Good communication, interpersonal skills are essential
Food Handler's Card is required within 30 days of hire
