Description
AdventHealth for Children – Orlando, Florida is seeking a Pediatric Endocrinologist to join our pediatric endocrine program located at the Walt Disney Pavilion. The role includes high volume outpatient clinics, outreach clinics at four locations, and inpatient coverage in equal rotation with group members. Physicians may develop a subspecialty niche based on interest. Our program offers a dedicated hormone testing area with dynamic hormonal testing and infusions, a large diabetes program staffed by five nurse CDEs and a dietitian CDE, two social workers, and a growth hormone coordinator.
Overview Working with an expanding children’s hospital, a successful pediatric endocrinology group of four physicians and four ARNPs, a strong referral base, a pediatric residency program, robust hospitalist and NICU/ICU services, and a family‑centered practice atmosphere provides an excellent career opportunity. Responsibilities
High volume outpatient clinics for patients 0–18 years of age.
Outreach clinics currently operating at four locations.
Inpatient coverage with equal rotation among group members.
Potential to develop a subspecialty niche based on physician interest.
Participation in dynamic hormone testing and infusions.
Collaboration with diabetes program staff, social workers, and growth hormone coordinator.
Requirements
Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics.
Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Endocrinology (or board eligible).
Active Florida medical license, or ability to obtain one.
Strong communication skills.
Patient‑first mindset with a collegial team approach.
