Relationship Management and Business Development
Identify and qualify new industry prospect leads for the University, prioritizing businesses in Georgia. Manage a growing portfolio of major industry prospects to build long-term partnerships that generate philanthropic support, research sponsorship, and student engagement. Develop understanding of UGA’s philanthropic areas and connect opportunities with industry needs to create mutually beneficial relationships. Assist faculty, administrators, and unit development directors with industry-related projects and funding proposals, contracts, and stewardship reports. Plan and attend campus and off-site meetings with corporate representatives to build partnerships. Create annual prospect engagement plans aligned to the Director’s metrics. Document all interactions in the CRM system with clear data input. Campus Collaboration
Collaborate with university colleagues on projects involving industry partners in your portfolio. Consult with industry-funded faculty on project management and policies; brainstorm priority areas with campus counterparts. Liaise with cross-campus partners to identify new leads and opportunities for cultivation and stewardship. Other
