What would you do as a Systems Engineer - Mid Level As a Mid-Level Systems Engineer at Mission Intelligence Group, you will play a crucial role in addressing complex technical challenges within the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG), Allied System for Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG), and partner Federal Agencies. Your expertise will be vital in delivering timely, accurate, and mission-critical GEOINT solutions. You will engage in comprehensive phases of the systems engineering lifecycle, including conducting requirements analysis, developing solution architecture, and executing systems integration.

Your responsibilities will encompass reliability and resiliency engineering, testing, evaluation, and maintainability, ensuring that GEOINT capabilities meet evolving mission needs. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers, facilitate the capture of customer requirements, and assist in strategic planning and project management. This position enables you to contribute significantly to the functionality and robustness of essential systems while working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering or in related technical or scientific fields such as engineering, physics, mathematics, operations research, engineering management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or 9 years of experience as a Systems Engineer in lieu of degree.

6 years of working experience in government or industry in relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or system engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture/Cloud environments.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Working knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools and languages.

Working knowledge of Software Development Frameworks.

INCOSE Associate System Engineering Professional (ASEP) certification.

Documented work experience in the field of geospatial intelligence.

Membership or active participation in any of the following professional organizations:

ACSM

ASCE

ASPRS

OGC

SAREM

USGIF

Working knowledge of photogrammetry, remote sensing, image science, information sciences, geographic information systems, geomatics, or related fields.

Demonstrated knowledge of the current NSG/ASG and NRO enterprises.
