Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring a
MCS Senior Associate Quality Assurance .
Position type:
Full Time – Contract
Duration:
12 Months
Location:
Thousand Oaks, CA
Shift timing:
DAY 6AM – 3PM, Swing 3PM to Midnight (rotate every 6 months)
Schedule:
Begins day shift for training, then rotates between day and swing shifts every six months.
As a
MCS Senior Associate Quality Assurance , you will provide real‑time, floor‑based QA support at the client’s USTO site. The role supports commercial drug substance production and requires cleanroom oversight, batch record review, and acting as a QA liaison during manufacturing and facility events.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide PQA support on the floor for manufacturing.
Review and approve batch records (BRRs), deviations, and SOPs.
Perform electronic batch record review and SOP revision & approval.
Approve work orders and minor deviations.
Evaluate compliance issues, provide recommendations, and ensure completion of quality records.
Represent the Drug Substance Quality Assurance department in projects necessary to achieve departmental operational goals in a matrix environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, or related scientific field (preferred but not required).
Hands‑on QA or manufacturing experience in a GMP environment, preferably biotech.
Proven ability to perform GMP operations, follow detailed SOPs, maintain training and documentation practices.
Experience managing projects through completion and meeting timelines.
Experience evaluating documentation and operations according to company procedures and quality systems.
Strong critical thinking skills prioritized over academic credentials.
Basic Qualifications:
High school/GED + 2 years work experience or associate’s degree with 6 months work experience or bachelor’s degree.
