All-inclusive rate preferred to include 0-4 gratis hours; candidates without gratis hours will still be considered
Provider will be housed in hospital apartments adjacent to facility
Provider must be within 20 minutes per hospital bylaws
High risk deliveries will be handled only as emergent; NICU not available on site – transfers to New Hanover Regional or Cape Fear Valley (30‑45 minutes) or Level 1 nursery at Sampson Regional
Hospitalist support staff, 24/7 on call anesthesiology support, 24/7 on call radiology support available
Average 27 deliveries monthly with an average of 11 C-Sections, 3 labor rooms, and 14 postpartum; census typically 1‑3 deliveries per 24‑hour period
Responsibilities
Provider will round on patients
On-call for emergent C‑sections and vaginal deliveries
Available for any emergent GYN procedures
Ensure compliance with state licensure, DEA, and licensing regulations
Maintain accurate case logs and submit for past 24 months as required
Manage deliveries and transfers to appropriate NICU facilities as needed
