We are seeking an IT Support Specialist with a solid background in end user support, Windows, Macs, and cloud systems to join our growing team in an important client-facing support capacity.

Job Description This is for a full-time, permanent position at growing IT consulting company allowing you to work with many different technologies but within a regular, stable base of clients.

As an IT Support Specialist, you will collaborate with employees to quickly resolve any technical issues interrupting their productivity. We are looking for a creative and quick thinker who understands that while you may not always know the answer to a question, you know how to find it. You have experience working with both email, phone, and walk up support. Customer service expertise is essential.

Responsibilities

Provide end user support for Windows and MacOS; collaborate with IT departments and IT Support team to troubleshoot network connectivity, test AV equipment, and manage inventory.

Assist employees in person, at the office, and online (via email, Slack, and tickets).

Support mobile devices (iPhone/Android) in a corporate environment.

Configure and image Windows computers for employees.

Communicate clearly with executive-level clients and staff; maintain professional verbal and written communication.

Troubleshoot network connectivity, wifi, and VPN; identify and resolve issues efficiently.

Perform small IT projects to improve systems; train other employees on new applications and hardware.

Lift 50+ lbs of computer equipment and hardware; climb ladders and use hand tools as required.

Occasional weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

3 to 5 years of IT industry experience

End user support experience for Windows and MacOS

Strong customer service orientation; ability to solve technical problems

Experience with office productivity tools and collaboration platforms (Office 365, G Suite, SSO solutions, Cloud storage like Box/Dropbox/Egnyte, Salesforce)

Ability to connect computers to networks (Wi-Fi and VPN)

Management of mobile devices in a corporate environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with demanding high-touch executive-level clients

Problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Ability to perform small projects to improve IT and other systems

Willingness to train others on new applications, hardware, and processes

Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, perform light maintenance, and work in relevant environments

Ability to work occasional weekends
