Job Description - Senior Programmer/Developer - Vistex Developer (052321) Senior Programmer/Developer - Vistex Developer Required Experience

# Of Years Total Experience: 7-10 years # Relevant Experience: 3+ Years Responsibilities Develop best practice solutions and knowledge base to further develop SAPTopia’s On Demand service for SAP Vistex

Lead and develop the On Demand service offering by building industry templates and quick delivery solutions which can be deployed to multiple customers. Work with Vistex ABAP developers to design new functionality and enhancements in the On Demand service for Vistex

Perform system development in Vistex IP (Incentives & Payback) and DM (Data Maintenance) modules

Involved in a technical/functional consulting role for end-to-end Vistex software implementation cycles

Responsible for Vistex application upgrades

Coordinate with SAP Basis team on designing the system landscape for the upgrade from development to production

Analyze the current realization phase issues and provide solutions after the upgrade

Prepare test scripts for all the business processes after the upgrade

Improve the functionality after the upgrade and add missing requirements

Maintain working knowledge of existing product functionality and keep abreast of future product direction

Provide support for unit, integration, and user acceptance testing and help develop training documentation

Create and update task in CRM application to track progress with various internal and external activities for the On Demand service for Vistex.

Use of Vistex SAP modules including IP (Incentives & Paybacks)

DMP (Data Maintenance Pricing), DMR (Data Maintenance Resources)

Customer Rebates

Purchase Rebates

Billbacks, & Chargebacks;

SAP SD (Sales & Distribution)

SAP MM (Materials Management)

SAP ECC, and SAP ABAP

Delivery Landscape

Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.

Eligibility

Role Scope

Responsible for programming and software development using various programming languages and related tools and frameworks, reviewing code written by other programmers, requirement gathering, bug fixing, testing, documenting and implementing software systems. Experienced programmers are also responsible for interpreting architecture and design, code reviews, mentoring, guiding and monitoring programmers, ensuring adherence to programming and documentation policies, software development, testing and release.

Qualifications

You assign, coordinate, and review work and activities of programming personnel. Collaborate with computer manufacturers and other users to develop new programming methods. Supervise, train, mentor junior level programmers in programming and program coding. Represent team in project meetings. Work with business and functional analysts, and software & solution architects in ensuring that programs and systems function as intended. Supervise, mentor and manage large teams of programmers in one or more projects. Represent project teams in project/program meetings or in meetings with sponsor.

• Qualifications: 7-10 years (3 years min relevant experience in the role) experience, Bachelor’s Degree.

• Must have experience in Software Engineering Techniques, Software Engineering Architecture, Software Engineering Lifecycle and Data Management.

• Should be proficient in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Software Engineering Leadership, Architecture Knowledge and Technical Solution Design.
