About the Role We are partnering with a small, fully remote professional services firm to hire their first AI Automation Specialist / Administrator. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys exploring AI tools, building practical automations, and helping non-technical team members use these tools in their everyday work.

You will work closely with leadership to select AI tools, build and maintain workflows, and create clear prompts and guides that make work faster, easier, and more efficient.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain AI-driven workflows and automations for internal business use

Use no-code and low-code tools to create reliable, repeatable processes

Test, monitor, and improve automations for accuracy and efficiency

Partner with team members to identify tasks and processes that can be automated

Stay current on AI tools and trends; recommend the best options for the team’s needs

Create simple instructions, prompts, and short how-to videos for internal users

Maintain a library of prompts, templates, and process documentation

Support and troubleshoot AI tools so they remain effective and up to date

Tools and Environment

Fully remote, virtual team environment

Microsoft-based stack (e.g., Office 365, Teams)

Communication via Slack, Teams, video calls, and phone

AI and automation tools may include OpenAI-based agents, ChatGPT workflows, Make.com, Zapier, or similar platforms

Qualifications

Experience using AI tools to support business workflows (e.g., ChatGPT, OpenAI-based agents, agentic tools, etc.)

Experience with no-code or low-code automation tools (e.g., Make.com, Zapier, or similar)

Ability to quickly learn new tools and apply them to real business problems

Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working independently in a remote setting

Clear written and verbal communication skills

Ability to document workflows in simple, easy-to-follow language

General understanding of APIs or integrations is a plus

Experience in a small company, startup, consulting, or operations role is a plus
