About the Role As Mobile Engineer, you will develop and maintain Basic Capital’s native iOS app, ensuring performance, stability, and user delight, to present complex financial systems with simplicity and elegance. Help lead a future transition to React Native for cross-platform support.
You will
Maintain and improve Basic Capital’s native iOS app using Swift and SwiftUI
Design, architect, and own full-stack features with a focus on business goals and customer needs
Collaborate with designers to iterate on the design system and build intuitive customer interfaces
Participate in the development of a cross-platform mobile app using React Native and TypeScript
Participate in architecture discussions, planning, and code reviews across the stack
Qualifications
Proven experience in iOS development with a strong portfolio of shipped apps
Strong proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI
Well rounded with some experience on different parts of the stack, including web or backend
Experience developing React Native apps or migrating native apps to React Native
Experience in fintech or early-stage technology companies
Experience working in Kotlin backends
