Job Description - Sr. Big Data Developer (HBASE / Hadoop / Spark / Scala) (054072) Sr. Big Data Developer (HBASE / Hadoop / Spark / Scala) Sr Developer Engineer with HBASE/ Hadoop/ Spark/ Scala skill set. Should have experience with working on Big data projects/ Kafka queues set up. Strong Technical Lead - responsible to develop codes. Responsible for development and following best practices for big Data / HBASE environment. Design and Develop ETL mappings and Workflows. Knowledge on Data warehousing/Data Mart. Extensive work experience in Hadoop eco-system tools & technologies like: Hive, Sqoop, Oozie, HBase, Phoenix, Spark. · Experience with integration of data from multiple data sources. · Experience with Cloudera/Hortonworks. · Hands-on experience in Scala/Java programming language. · Hands-on experience in shell scripting. · Knowledge on Data warehousing/Data Mart. · Knowledge of various ETL techniques and framework is an added advantage. Minimum 5+ year work experience in Big data space. Must be able to do SQL queries against relational DB's. Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment. Delivery Architects assess a project’s technical feasibility, as well as implementation risks. They are responsible for designing and implementing a project’s technical architecture. They define the structure of a system, its interfaces, and the principles that guide its organization, software design and implementation. This includes the Software Architect. Day to Day Responsibilities

You are responsible for the end-to-end architecture of a Delivery, including its assembly and integration into the IT architecture principles defined with the client. You define the structure of the system, its interfaces, and the principles that guide its organization, software design and implementation. You are responsible for the management and mitigation of technical risks, ensuring that the Delivery services can be realistically delivered by the underlying technology components. Required Skills and Experience

Qualification: 6-8 years (2 years min relevant experience in the role) experience, Bachelor’s Degree. Should be proficient in foundation, People Leadership, client acquisition & development, service & delivery and business leadership.
