Overview
The Mount Sinai Health System is seeking an Endocrinologist to join its multi-specialty practice in Chelsea. The site is located at 309 West 23rd Street. The physician will work with PCPs, specialists, and administrative staff to ensure excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and patient satisfaction. The candidate should have a passion for women’s health and be committed to the mission of Mount Sinai Health System. The Endocrinologist will lead by example in patient care and actively participate with colleagues to bring out the best in the team. The position offers the opportunity to partner with world-renowned Icahn School of Medicine and Mount Sinai’s Department of Endocrinology, which emphasizes patient-centered care and an integrative approach to patient care, research, and education. The department pursues a comprehensive approach across patient care, research, and education, aligned with the mission of Icahn School of Medicine. Responsibilities
Provide medical care in a high-functioning ambulatory setting Collaborate with multi-specialty practice colleagues as part of a world-class health system Access educational, research, and clinical programs of a nationally ranked medical school Explore significant opportunities for leadership and career development Work with additional support staff Partner with Mount Sinai Diabetes Alliance program Share care responsibilities and coverage with other team members Qualifications
Medical Degree from an Accredited University New York Medical License Board Eligible or Board Certified in Endocrinology Committed to Mount Sinai and the communities served Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills Strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven health system Compensation range from 225K to 250K (not including bonuses or benefits).
