Job Description - AEM Technical Architect (054160) The AEM Technical Architect will require the ability to conduct discovery workshops to define and consolidate business needs and layout a technology roadmap aligning business goals. Provides Enterprise/Solution architecture services to solve customer problems and demonstrates strong knowledge in defining UI/UX strategy to customers. The role spans the following areas: Digital Marketing / Content Management (CXM) solutions and Omni-channel eCommerce Digital Marketing platform solutions with Adobe CQ (AEM), Liferay, Magnolia, Drupal, etc. Integrated commerce and customer experience platforms like Adobe Delivering analytics integrations and monitoring customer behavior models to align business strategies Redesign digital strategy and content migration strategy Responsibilities
Work independently and as a member of a team Work and communicate effectively with programmers and other IT staff and non-IT functional areas Lead and coach staff toward thought leadership and project excellence Engage in skills assessments and promote professional development of staff Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and is not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment Applicants for employment in the US must have valid work authorization that does not require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the US by Capgemini Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, engineering, or equivalent experience in software development 7-10 years’ experience with AEM/CQ and other Java-based CMSs Strong experience in Adobe CQ5/AEM6.x Content Management (CMS) Experience creating OSGI bundles, AEM Templates/Components, and Workflows Identifying and documenting functional and technical requirements Identifying the NFRs and recommending overall solution design Creating solutions and presenting to customers Proficient in Java/J2EE, OOPS, and design patterns Good understanding of Java Frameworks (e.g., Struts, Spring) and knowledge of CRX and Apache Sling Familiar with UML diagrams (Use case, Class, Sequence, Activity, Deployment) Experience designing modules and components Exposure to more than one end-to-end implementation on AEM Performance optimization and scalability in AEM Thorough understanding of AEM Security model with SSO Knowledge of AEM components like MSM, Mobile, I18N, Tagging, Translation, Search Experience migrating content from legacy systems to AEM Integration of CMS with CRM, E-commerce or portals Preferred - AEM 6 Architect certification and understanding of various Adobe cloud services which can be integrated with AEM Work Environment & EEO
