Surgical Oncologist opening - Charlotte, North Carolina Position Details
- Join a well-established, comprehensive Integrated Network Cancer Program with NAPBC accreditation in the Charlotte region
- Focus primarily on breast cancer, with additional responsibilities in melanoma, sarcoma, and general surgical oncology
- Full-time schedule: 2 days in clinic + 2.5 days in OR
- Participate in clinical research and teaching opportunities through an academic affiliation with UNC-Chapel Hill
- Engage in a weekly multidisciplinary cancer conference supporting patient-centered care
- Collaborate with institute and state-wide breast, melanoma, and hepatobiliary tumor councils
- Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support available in both clinic and operating room
- Each physician covers their own call
- Work within a collegial, team-oriented cancer program designed to promote subspecialization and collaborative care Candidate Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Surgery and Complex General Surgical Oncology
- Fellowship training in Complex General Surgical Oncology required Responsibilities & Duties
