Florida Trauma Neurosurgery Hospital is seeking an experienced neurosurgeon to join their well respected and busy American College of Surgeons verified Level I Trauma Center. The neurosurgeon will work in the Department of Trauma to provide trauma neurosurgical care. There is APP support as well as a full service line dedicated to trauma. Board certified / board eligible in neurosurgery Spine fellowship trained and experience in trauma neurosurgery preferred. The incoming provider will focus mainly on trauma neurosurgery (Hospital-based, Under the trauma department, Managing neuro trauma alerts, Trauma consults, Manage follow-up clinic, Participate in peer review, program improvement, trauma center survey verification/designation, and quality rounds) Share the month with another dedicated trauma neurosurgeon with APP support. The Hospital s trauma program is the area s only ACS verified Level 1 trauma center servicing 5 counties and over 1M residents. It is also a teaching hospital for the University of Central Florida and hosts the UCF/HCA residency consortium.
