Infrastructure Engineers wanted at EdgeDB
Join EdgeDB, an open-source database built on top of Postgres, and help scale out our cloud infrastructure. As an SRE/Infrastructure Engineer at EdgeDB, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, with the goal of providing a seamless experience for our users.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure using Hashicorp tools (Terraform, Consul, Nomad, Vault)
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with the development team to develop and implement new features and services
- Work with the team to develop and maintain our infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices
Participate in on-call rotations and be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issuesRequirements:
Experience with cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalability
- Familiarity with Postgres and SQL databases
- Proficiency in Golang, with experience in Python and Rust
- Experience with Hashicorp tools (Terraform, Consul, Nomad, Vault)
- Familiarity with AWS (with eventual expansion to other cloud platforms)
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices
Our tech stack is Hashicorp tools (Terraform, Consul, Nomad, Vault); Postgres; Golang with some Python & Rust; and AWS (with eventual expansion to other cloud platforms)
