About The Role
Shape the future of AI — with JSON! As an AI Tutor - JSON , you'll use your data structuring expertise to improve AI-generated outputs and ensure they align with JSON's standards, clarity, and interoperability goals.
Your Day to Day

• Review JSON data structures for correctness, consistency, and clean formatting.
• Solve data modeling and API communication tasks using JSON and explain your process.
• Identify and correct flaws in AI output or unclear schema logic.
• Summarize your approach and decision-making clearly and concisely.
  

About You

• Fluent in English with strong writing and communication skills.
• Expertise in JSON: schema design, nested structures, API formatting standards, and validation.
• 3–5 years of experience working with JSON in web or backend development is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree (or pursuing one) in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field. Master's or PhD preferred.
• Deep interest in AI, structured data exchange, or API design.
  

Alignerr strives to ensure pay parity across the organization and discuss compensation transparently. The expected hourly rate range for United States-based candidates is below. Exact compensation varies based on a variety of factors, including skills and competencies, experience, and geographical location.
Pay Range (rate per hour)
$15—$150 USD
Important Information
This is a freelance position compensated on an hourly basis. Please note that this is not an internship opportunity. Candidates must be authorized to work in their country of residence, and we do not offer sponsorship for this 1099 contract role. International students on a valid visa may be eligible to apply; however, specific circumstances should be discussed with a tax or immigration advisor.
