Job Description - Senior Applications Consultant - SAP WM/IM (PTP) (054268)
Responsibilities
Responsible for the full systems lifecycle from requirements gathering through implementation of SAP Warehouse Management (WM) functional solutions.
Work closely with clients and demonstrate individual functional and professional knowledge to ensure that the work products and deliverables are of the highest caliber to ensure client satisfaction.
Apply project management expertise to identify, develop, and implement techniques to improve engagement productivity, increase efficiencies, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and optimize cost savings and efficiencies for clients.
Participate on SAP implementation & rollout projects or SAP support & maintenance projects within logistics functional area.
Based on user requirements analysis you will prepare functional design and specifications, system configuration, perform relevant testing and deployment of the designed business solution.
Understand configuration dependencies and interrelationships between separate functional modules of SAP and provide expertise in the definition and resolution of issues in this area with this knowledge.
Conducts or participates in user requirements gathering, blueprinting & documentation designs. Familiarity with SAP Inventory Management and Material Master functional expertise (system configuration) is required.
Should have ITIL knowledge (Incident/Change/Knowledge/Problem Management).
Knowledge of Pharma/Life science domain.
Knowledge of Service Now tool – it will be an added advantage.
Experience with and knowledge of SD in S/4HANA is a big plus.
Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.
Required Skills and Experience You are an expert in one or more business processes and technology practices and are accountable for translating a business case into a detailed technical design. Alternatively, you are responsible for operational and technical issues and translate technical blueprints into requirements and specifications. You may also be responsible for integration testing and user acceptance testing. You act as a stream lead, guiding team members by experience. You are seen as active member within technology communities.
Qualification: 6-8 years (2 years min relevant experience in the role) experience, Bachelor’s Degree.
Certification: SE level 1 and seeking level 2.
Must have experience in Package Configuration.
Should be proficient in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Testing, Architecture Knowledge, Technical Solution Design and Vendor Management.
