The ideal candidate has a strong sense of timing, understands game design principles, and can seamlessly integrate animation into real‑time environments.

Key Responsibilities

In-Engine Animation & Motion Design

Animate UI transitions, feedback states, and in‑game effects (e.g., win sequences, bonuses, reveals)

Create motion graphics and scene‑based animations using Unity’s Timeline, Animator, and VFX Graph

Design and implement real‑time animations for characters, objects, and game events

Bring visual life to static assets by combining motion, particles, and audio triggers

Work with shader‑based animations or Sprite animations when appropriate

Technical Integration

Assemble and test motion assets in Unity, ensuring correct timing, responsiveness, and performance

Optimize animations and effects for mobile and desktop platforms

Collaboration & Feedback

Work closely with UI/UX, 2D/3D artists, and game designers to align motion with gameplay and aesthetic goals

Iterate based on playtest feedback, developer constraints, and product performance

Present animation concepts through quick prototypes or visual storyboards

Qualifications and Skills

Required:

3+ years of experience in motion design or animation, with at least 1 year focused on Unity 3D

Strong proficiency with Unity’s Timeline, Animator Controller, and Particle/VFX tools

Solid understanding of animation principles, timing, easing, and transitions

Experience with animated UI, game effects, and cinematic or event‑driven animations

Portfolio or showreel demonstrating Unity‑based animations and interactive motion work

Preferred:

Experience in mobile or iGaming animation (slots, cards, fantasy games)

Familiarity with Spine, After Effects, or Adobe Animate for asset prep or concept work

Basic understanding of shader animation and Unity’s URP/HDRP pipelines

Knowledge of performance optimization for 2D/3D animation in real‑time environments
