Description The App Store Quality team is responsible for delivering a wonderful customer experience on one of Apple's most popular apps. The App Store app connects to over billions of devices across the Apple platforms. We are seeking a Senior‑level Quality Automation Engineer to join the App Store and Games QA group. You will lead and develop AI automation solutions and be expected to possess the skills necessary for working closely with the engineering team during all aspects of the development process.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for writing new automation tests for all Apple platforms; iOS, tvOS, macOS, visionOS and watchOS. You will own complete functional areas and be able to define test approaches and strategies. We require strong programming fundamentals and automation experience to help develop in all phases of the release cycle.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience with GenAI, LLMs, and Integrating with existing automation solutions
Ability to lead development of AI projects from start to finish.
5+ years of strong QA Automation & Testing experience on Client side applications
Proficiency on client‑server API and UI automation Experience working with OS X and iOS platforms and tools like Appium, Selenium, Rest Assured, with past experience in Xcode/XCTest being a plus
Proficient in object‑oriented programming and one of the major OOP languages, e.g. Swift, C++, Java, etc.
BS in Computer Science
5+ years of comparable work experience
Hands‑on experience with Continuous Integration systems
Preferred Qualifications
Flexible and able to adapt to rapidly changing requirements
Outstanding ability to investigate, debug and triage complicated scenarios, and work independently towards results
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $163,300 and $245,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
