Overview A Bronx-based primary care clinic serving the OPWDD population is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician for a part-time outpatient role. This position offers steady weekday hours, complete scheduling flexibility, and the opportunity to provide meaningful care to a medically and developmentally diverse patient panel. No weekends and no call.
Key Responsibilities • Provide primary and preventive care to adults within the OPWDD population • Perform routine exams, chronic condition management, and sick visits • Collaborate with nursing, care coordinators, and interdisciplinary team members • Maintain thorough documentation within the clinic’s EMR system • Support continuity of care and ensure clinical compliance standards are met
Qualifications • Must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine • Active New York medical license (or eligibility to obtain) • Experience with the OPWDD population preferred but not required • Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
