RINA is currently recruiting for a
Software Embedded System Engineer
to join its office in Pomezia within the
Digital Technology and Cybersecurity
Division.
Mission RINA Consulting is looking for a Software Engineer to produce and implement software solutions in defence framework. Our personnel assist in the preparation of design calculations, drafting, technical specifications, reports, and other necessary tasks. Additionally, they utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software, perform fieldwork, and ensure adherence to safety procedures.
Key Accountabilities
Design and implement embedded software applications for avionics systems.
Develop software in compliance with DO-178C or similar safety-critical standards.
Participate to software requirements definition and design architecture specifications
Integrate software onto target equipment
Technical project management
Technical interface between client and development team
Contribute to defining the detailed specification
Participate in the definition of the architecture
Software development and testing
Review Data package preparation
Education Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Qualifications
Solid understanding of embedded systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS and bare metal programming)
Experience in software development for safety-critical systems, in aviation domain (DO-178C) is plus
Proficiency in C and ADA83/95 programming languages
Analysis skills for algorithm development.
