Registered Veterinary Technician - Neurology
We are looking for a skilled Registered Veterinary Technician to join our growing team! This position offers the opportunity to work alongside renowned veterinarians and contribute to cutting edge patient care.
Who we are Located in Culver City, ACCESS LA is a referral hospital with 24hour Emergency services, where our technicians encounter all types of cases when working closely with some of the most qualified doctors in the country. Add that we have numerous specialty departments and it’s possible a tech’s day could involve a Macaw with a broken beak, time in one of our many advanced operating rooms, watching our Orthopedic Surgeons replace a dog’s elbow, or operating an MRI. It’s a long list of unique experiences best suited to those who absolutely love caring for sick or injured animals in a high-paced, renowned animal hospital.

Provide your best care with more bridges and less barriers. As a neurology veterinary technician, you will play a crucial role in our neurology department assisting in the diagnosis, treatment, and care of our patients. You will work closely with neurologists and other veterinary specialists to provide exceptional medical support and ensure the highest standards of patient care.
Role Responsibilities
Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
With each hospital function, assist veterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow.
Assist with MRI's, CT scans, spinal taps and EEG's.
Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on Thrive Membership options, medications, and additional treatments.
Assist in maintaining relevant, comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems.
Obtain relevant health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts.
Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.
Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.
Experience & Skills Requirements
RVT license required
Understanding of anesthesia protocols including pre‑anesthetic assessments, drug dosages, and post anesthesia care.
Proficiency in monitoring equipment, administering anesthesia, and responding to anesthesia related emergencies.
Attention to detail, ensuring precise dosages, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining detailed patient records.
Desire to offer superior patient care.
