Benign Hematologist: Johns Hopkins Community Physicians (JHCP) is looking for a Benign Hematologist to join our Hematology Malignancies Team at Johns Hopkins Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, DC. Johns Hopkins Sibley Memorial Hospital is a 318-bed facility providing a wide range of healthcare services to the Washington, D.C., area communities. We offer medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetric, oncology, orthopaedic, and a variety of other inpatient and outpatient services, as well as a 24-hour Emergency Department. Located in the Palisades neighborhood, you will have direct access to outstanding schools and universities, fine dining, and museums.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
Diagnose and manage a wide range of benign hematologic conditions, including anemia, clotting disorders, sickle cell disease, hemophilia, and thrombophilia.
In-patient and out-patient clinical responsibilities. Perform procedures such as bone marrow biopsies when clinically indicated.
Opportunity to participate in quality and process improvement projects and research initiatives.
Unrestricted Medical License in Washington, DC.
Board eligible or certified in Hematology.
CPR Certification required (AHA and RQI CPR).
