Full-time, employed opportunity based out of Valley Baptist Medical Center - Harlingen Shift based and does not include call; work 7 days on 7 days off back to back; holidays rotated Day Shift hours 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Currently, 1 full-time nocturnist and a NP on shift between 5 p.m. and 5 a.m. New model will consist of 2 Physicians-Nocturnists and 2 FNP's to manage the census in house, transfer center admissions Average 80-100 patients per shift Open ICU; however the Intensivist team does most of the procedures and responds to hospital codes Opportunity to teach internal medicine residents if desired Competitive compensation and benefits package (includes life insurance, long term disability, 401K, malpractice insurance, CME/Professional expense reimbursement, and much more!)
