in Bangor, Maine is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible psychiatrist to join our Adult Psychiatry Residency Program’s faculty as an
Adult Outpatient Preceptor.
Our program is committed to providing a comprehensive and supportive learning environment that fosters the development of exceptional clinicians, researchers, and leaders in the field of psychiatry.
Details:
Provide direct clinical supervision for psychiatric residents in our Adult Medication Management clinic
Flexible schedules – full-time and part-time options available, on-site work is required
Collaboration with the Residency Director and Medical Director of Adult Outpatient Psychiatry
Ample support from other psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, therapists, technicians, and hospital leadership

Northern Light Acadia Hospital is an acute care, regional psychiatric teaching hospital that is the hub of a comprehensive behavioral health service line within Northern Light Health. We serve communities throughout the state and provide inpatient and outpatient behavioral health care for children, teens, and adults while specializing in the treatment of mental illness and substance use disorders. In addition, we offer innovative programming in the form of behavioral health home, integrated behavioral healthcare in primary care practices, general hospital psychiatry, and an extensive telepsychiatry network. We are the only New England partner for the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation.
