* Define and implement technical requirements for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational support using appropriate automation methodologies.* Enhance infrastructure deployment workflows to improve system reliability, resource utilization, and operational efficiency while resolving infrastructure issues of intermediate complexity.* Configure and optimize physical, virtualized, and cloud-based infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and operational resilience across multiple technology domains.* Implement and maintain infrastructure monitoring, capacity planning, and incident response procedures while ensuring adherence to security protocols and compliance requirements.* Collaborate with software, platform, and operations teams to align infrastructure capabilities with application requirements and business needs.* Provide technical guidance to Associate and Sr Associate Infrastructure Engineers while contributing to infrastructure standards and best practices.* Evaluate new infrastructure technologies and methodologies to identify opportunities for operational improvements and technology modernization.* Perform other duties as assigned.* Three (3) years of infrastructure engineering/systems administration experience preferred.* If specializing in a certain domain of infrastructure engineering, proven expertise in that specific area with ability to work across related systems.* Domain Expertise - Demonstrated track record of infrastructure expertise including the ability to understand system concepts necessary to do the job effectively, demonstrate willingness, cooperation, and concern for business issues, and possess in-depth knowledge of immediate infrastructure systems worked on.* Strong communication skills that enable clear, concise interactions with team members and stakeholders. Your ability to document infrastructure work in an accessible manner, ask clarifying questions on requirements, and actively listen ensures seamless collaboration. You welcome constructive feedback and use it to continuously improve your approach to infrastructure challenges.* You demonstrate intermediate leadership capabilities with a proven track record of self-motivation and initiative. Your ability to identify and pursue personal growth opportunities in infrastructure technologies shows your commitment to professional development and positions you to take on increasing responsibilities within our team.* Intermediate delivery skills including the ability to deliver infrastructure work at a steady, predictable pace to achieve commitments, decompose infrastructure assignments into small batch deployments, and contribute to system architecture tradeoff and negotiation discussions.* Proven problem-solving skills including infrastructure debugging abilities, allowing you to determine source of issues in unfamiliar systems or environments, ability to recognize and solve repetitive infrastructure problems proactively and permanently, recognize mistakes using them as learning opportunities, and break down large infrastructure problems into smaller, more manageable ones.* **Health Insurance**: Employees and their eligible family members – including spouses, domestic partners, and children – are eligible for coverage from the first day of employment.* **Retirement:** Travelers matches your 401(k) contributions dollar-for-dollar up to your first 5% of eligible pay, subject to an annual maximum.
