Animal Urgent Care
(AUC) is a group of 24/7 emergency and urgent care hospitals serving the greater Denver area. We are seeking a Medical Director to join our leadership team
and help guide our growing multi-hospital group. This role is ideal for an experienced veterinarian with a passion for clinical excellence, mentorship, and team development. You’ll partner closely with our Hospital Administrator to lead operations, uphold medical standards, and build a positive, inclusive culture across all our locations.
What You’ll Do:
Provide medical leadership and ensure high standards of patient care
Mentor associate veterinarians and support staff across multiple sites
Collaborate on recruiting, budgeting, and strategic planning
Champion wellness and DEI efforts
Shape protocols and drive clinical quality improvements
What We’re Looking For:
DVM or equivalent; eligible for Colorado licensure
3+ years clinical experience (urgent care or ER preferred)
Previous leadership experience (formal or informal)
Strong communicator and team builder
Passion for mentorship and inclusive, community-centered care
