Housekeeping Aide

The Community at Brookmeade is currently accepting applications for a full time Housekeeping Aide for The Terraces, Brookmeade's premier Assisted Living Facility!

Shift is Days (7 AM-3 PM)

Minimum Qualifications:

  Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

• n

  Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning chemicals.

  n
n
• n

  Good communication skills to understand instructions and report issues.

  n
n
• n

  Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic.

  n
n
• n

  High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

  n
n

Responsibilities:

n
• n

  Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces in assigned areas.

  n
n
• n

  Clean and disinfect restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure all fixtures are in working order.

  n
n
• n

  Change bed linens, make beds, and tidy resident or guest rooms according to established procedures.

  n
n
• n

  Dispose of trash and recycling materials in a timely and sanitary manner.

  n
n
• n

  Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor promptly.

  n
n
• n

  Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

  n
n
• n

  Assist with setting up rooms for special events or activities as needed.

  n
n
• n

  Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are used properly and stored safely.

  n
n
