Job Title: Hematologist/Oncologist Permanent Position

Overview:
AnMed Health is seeking a fellowship-trained, Board Certified Hematologist/Oncologist to join its renowned Cancer Center in Anderson, South Carolina. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert outpatient hematology and oncology care, managing an average of 15-25 patients daily for approximately 1,200 new cancer cases annually.
- Participate in a primarily outpatient clinic setting, with minimal hospital rounds.
- Cover practice call and inpatient oncology consultations, primarily during weekdays, with no weekend commitments.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including radiation oncology and supportive services, to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Utilize Epic EMR to document and coordinate patient care seamlessly.
- Engage in clinical trials through nationwide networks such as UC-NCORP, contributing to advancing cancer treatment.
- Support the rebuilding and growth of the oncology practice, contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- MD or DO degree with successful completion of fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology.
- Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology; Board Eligibility may be considered for recent graduates.
- Current US medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure in South Carolina.
- Proven ability to work independently, especially as the first physician onsite.
- Residency in or near Anderson, SC, or willingness to relocate.
- Open to H1B and J1 visa candidates; candidates with valid board certification are preferred.
- Candidates with lapsed Board Certification requiring re-certification are not eligible.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of $500,000 to $750,000 annually, commensurate with experience and training.
