Position Overview
Supervisor, Telecom Aerial – a role within the Pauley Construction structure responsible for managing 2‑4 crews of crew leaders or foremen. The position involves repetitive work assignments typical of a superintendent’s structure, including tailgate meetings, senior leadership meetings, and ensuring crews meet productivity goals. The supervisor communicates with external customers, city inspectors, and coordinates pre‑construction meetings while maintaining safety and production records and preparing as‑build documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and lead crews to meet and maintain daily production goals and maintain production records.
Coordinate with the direct manager to invoice jobs in a timely manner following company policy.
Ensure all company safety policies, OSHA, DOT, and special project requirements are complied with for each crew assignment.
Conduct accident investigations for job damage, employee injury, and vehicle accidents.
Attend all safety meetings with assigned crews.
Participate in in‑house and outsourced training as required.
Investigate and manage property owner complaints with the Superintendent.
Ensure 100% adherence to all company safety policies.
Communicate equipment needs—repair, maintenance, rental—to the direct manager.
Maintain trucks and equipment in clean condition.
Handle staffing, training, and performance of employees, working with HR to recruit, onboard, train, coach, discipline, and terminate personnel.
Consult with the direct manager before ordering or procuring new material.
Interface with customers about needs and job status.
Complete a total of 8 JSO’s including auditing of the direct reporting crews.
Complete daily DVIR when required.
Ensure assigned fleet is gate‑checked within a 45‑day timeframe.
What You'll Need
18 years of age or older.
Authorization to work in the United States.
Valid state driver's license (non‑provisional) with an acceptable driving record.
Pass a background check and company drug screening.
Attend and pass all required company training.
Availability for after‑hours, weekend, on‑call, night, holiday, and travel as needed.
Regular and timely attendance.
Additional Qualifications
Experience in telecommunications or utility construction.
Proven leadership experience guiding employees to produce high‑quality results and teamwork.
Combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates ability to perform designated duties.
Reasoning ability to understand written, oral, or drawing instructions and address problems involving employees, customers, vendors, and the public.
Mathematical skills for basic calculations, measurements, and accounting principles.
Language skills to read, interpret, write, and communicate effectively.
Physical ability to stand, crouch, bend, lift up to 50 lb, work outdoors in all weather, and tolerate dust, fumes, chemicals, and machinery exposure.

Pay Range The annual wage range for the Supervisor, Telecom Aerial role is $70,000 – $83,000, depending on experience.
