Key Responsibilities
Learn and support the You First culture and core values.
Put supervisory skills to work, ensuring daily operations run according to plan and maintain high standards.
Understand that we source great food for a reason and that our recipes must be followed.
Know the restaurant's sales and traffic goals – and work to exceed them.
Coach and observe the First Watch Five Steps of Service being implemented at every table.
Understand the background story of our 10 Commitments – and put them into action.
Respond with a sense of urgency to both customer and employee concerns.
Communicate and take immediate ownership of repair and maintenance issues.
Be certified in food safety – and identify and coach in all areas of safe food handling.
Continuously scout for and interview candidates to join our team.
Keep our company assets secure, including computers, point of sale, security systems and equipment.
Understand the key responsibilities of every position in the restaurant.
Put an immediate stop to any inappropriate behavior, investigate as needed.
Train, coach, and develop team members daily.
Recognize performance that goes above and beyond.
Account for all daily revenues and deposits.
Complete administrative duties – and get required paperwork on time.
