Job Summary and Responsibilities The Patient Services Representative is responsible for executing various clerical and secretary functions for the Diagnostic Imaging department: answer and direct phone calls, computer entry of patient data, exam entry, registrations/reception of patients, fulfillment of film requests, patient scheduling, editing of reports, enhancing patient experience by minimizing wait times, and providing other similar tasks.
Job Requirements Minimum Qualifications
One (1) year clerical and/or receptionist experience required.
Computer/typing skills.
Use of various office equipment including fax/copier.
Able to read, speak and write English.
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft Office preferred.
Medical Terminology preferred.Experience in a hospital or medical clinic preferred.
