Job Summary With guidance and oversight, performs assigned duties that support Production and Logistics, which could include pulling, counting, and packing Finished Goods, Components, and/or Raw Materials and moving them manually and/or by mobile equipment to designated areas in the facility or onto trucks.
Main Duties & Responsibilities Set up and use counting scales to accurately record the quantity and/or weight of Finished Goods, Components, and Raw Materials. Physically receive Raw Materials, Components, and Finished Goods and pull samples as required. From reports, picklists, or ERP System, pull materials from storage locations and accurately record the Part ID, Lot Number, and Location for the material. Deliver and retrieve materials and equipment to the Production floor. Weigh Material or Components in Production and ensure that the materials have been accurately recorded to the Production Job. Verify that all products and materials have accurate and appropriate identification tags, documentation, and/or paperwork. Utilizing scales, accurately count and weigh materials and verify accuracy compared to Reports and/or ERP System. Store materials in proper storage locations and containers to ensure preservation and retrievability. Monitor assigned machines used in packing and report any safety concerns. Perform cycle counts and verify counts and locations as assigned. Perform housekeeping duties to maintain an orderly work area. Follow written instructions for packaging and storage of materials. Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications Other Competencies: Language Skills: Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and understand blueprints, work orders, pick lists, and inventory reports. Computer Skills: Knowledge of Inventory software and Manufacturing software. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Forklift / Mobile Equipment Certification. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED; 0-1 year of related experience and/or training.
Compensation The expected pay range for this position is $19.00 - $29.86.
