Philo Development is a Utah-based land development firm dedicated to creating high-quality, sustainable communities across the state. We have many projects around the mountain west and are seeking a project manager for these projects.

We are seeking a

Project Manager

to play a pivotal role in this space — overseeing construction, managing operations, and serving as the on-the-ground representative for many new and exciting projects.

The

Project Manager

will oversee all aspects of these ongoing and new projects — including construction management, budgeting, scheduling, public relations, and coordination with local officials and contractors. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader in land development and vertical renovations who combines technical expertise with strong communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day construction, public relations, and coordination for multiple projects.

Oversee contractors in the field to ensure work is completed safely, per plan, and to the highest quality standards.

Own and manage construction and operational budgets for the project.

Drive and maintain the project schedule to ensure on-time delivery of project parameters.

Review contracts, pay requests, and assist in setting and maintaining project budgets.

Qualifications & Skills Experience

Minimum 5 years of direct experience in land development, construction management, or a related field (10+ years preferred).

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Business, or a related field — or 10 years of equivalent professional experience.

Technical Expertise

Strong understanding of land development, architectural and civil plans, entitlements, zoning, permitting, and utilities (municipal and private).

Familiarity with real estate transactions and local political processes.

Leadership & Personal Attributes

Proven leadership and organizational skills with high attention to detail.

Strong sense of urgency and ability to resolve issues swiftly and effectively.

Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate diverse stakeholders.

Must be available in the Kanab area at least 4 days per week.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 DOE
