Associate, Operational Continuity & Compliance

Join KPMG US as an Associate on the Digital Nexus Technology team. This role focuses on leading operational continuity and compliance initiatives, driving monitoring activities, data analytics, and risk assessments. Responsibilities

Lead and support compliance initiatives, including audit and monitoring activities, corrective action plan management, and advanced data analytics. Oversee and continuously improve user access management processes, ensuring alignment with internal policies and industry best practices for access provisioning, periodic access reviews, and privileged account management. Conduct risk assessments and root cause analyses to identify potential compliance gaps, escalating issues and driving remediation. Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation for all compliance matters, including corrective action plans, issue summaries, and executive reports. Leverage advanced analytical and research skills to proactively identify emerging risks and recommend enhancements to compliance and access management frameworks, and coordinate internal and external audit activities. Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, promoting a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement. Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment. Qualifications

Minimum one year of recent experience in data analysis, compliance, and user access management, preferably within regulated environments. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in information technology, cybersecurity, business administration, or related field. Proficiency with SQL, Databricks (Azure Platform), Alteryx, Power BI, and experience with SharePoint and Power Apps for automating compliance operations. Strong project management and time management skills, including the ability to create and maintain project timelines. Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply complex compliance requirements, with keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem‑solving. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
