Job Overview Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated Warehouse Coordinator to oversee the shipment, delivery, requisition, and storage of materials, supplies, and equipment in and out of the warehouse. This opportunity offers a career path with competitive salary and benefits.
Typical Day – Responsibilities
Conduct inventory control, parts ordering, shipping/receiving, and tool/equipment management to keep equipment up-to-date and operating properly.
Manage HAZMAT program; contain waste oil and schedule pickups to ensure compliance with Otis and state regulations.
Arrange delivery of parts or equipment to jobsites.
Manage DOT compliance on related vehicles.
Maintain warehouse vehicles and the warehouse in a safe, proper order.
Qualifications
High School degree or equivalent required.
Ability to work in a highly team-oriented, dynamic environment.
Strong verbal communication skills to build expectations and relationships with internal and external customers.
Lift up to 50 pounds and have a clean driving record.
Ability to operate a forklift.
Ability to drive F250 to F750 (1 ton+) trucks for material deliveries and pickups.
Must pass the Department of Transportation (DOT) exam.
