What To Expect Tesla is seeking an experienced Mobile Tire Technician who will travel daily within the region to provide on‑site inspection, repair, and service of our electric vehicles. The role requires strong technical skills, a focus on customer experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑moving environment.
What You’ll Do
Perform apprentice‑level inspection, repair, and service of Tesla electric vehicles.
Operate hand, power, and shop tools.
Conduct equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications.
Maintain accurate records of time, expenses, materials, and vehicle cleanliness.
Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines.
Support other Mobile Service Technicians and Tesla Service Centers as needed.
Travel regionally on a daily basis.
What You’ll Bring
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair methods; trade school training or ASEs preferred.
Hands‑on experience mounting, balancing, and repairing tires.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with the public and internal stakeholders.
Quick adaptation to new systems, processes, and dynamic work environments.
Comfort with daily regional travel and operating large service vehicles, including tow trucks and trailers.
Valid driver’s license; willingness to become DOT certified.
