Salary Range : $20.60 - $20.60 Hourly

Job Title : Material Handler T1
Function : Plant Superintendent
Reports to : Penny Morris --Material Supervisor
Supervises : None
Mission : Responsible for managing the movement, storage, and handling of materials within a warehouse or production environment, ensuring efficient operations and accurate inventory management.
Principle Activities
Material Movement: Load, unload, and transport materials and products within the warehouse or production area.
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels, documenting orders, and ensuring materials are stored correctly.
Order Fulfillment: Pull and verify materials for production orders, ensuring that the correct items are delivered to the appropriate workstations.
Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move materials safely and efficiently.
Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Documentation: Maintain logs and records of materials received, stored, and shipped, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
Report on any issues or defects in materials or equipment to the supervisor
Financial/Risk Control Conduct yourself in accordance with the Company code of ethics policy at all times.
Additional Requirement Must master assembly line water spider or tugger rider at one assembly line.

Qualifications Required Knowledge and Skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
Familiarity with inventory management systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus.
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Required Education
10th grade education or higher
Required Experience
Ability to work in QAD for inquiries and material transfers as required
Ability to safely operate a forklift
Must be able to be on your feet and walk throughout the plant for the entire shift (minus standard break periods)
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for prolonged periods and perform repetitive tasks. Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs. and wear all required PPE.
