Position Summary SHEIN Global Security and Risk Management (GSRM) is a global security organization that oversees security infrastructure, risk management, data privacy, business fraud, governance, and regulatory compliance across SHEIN’s global footprint. We're seeking a full-time Associate Privacy Operations Analyst (Official Title: Associate Privacy Operations Analyst II) for our Los Angeles-based corporate office, who will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of privacy operational processes. Additional responsibilities include monitoring and responding to privacy requests from various intake channels coming into our Global Privacy Operations Center (GPOC) to ensure all submitted privacy requests are properly verified, resolved, and escalated as appropriate.
This Privacy Operations Analyst should have a fundamental understanding of global privacy principles and their practical applications as well as practical experience in applying AI/ML solutions to meet compliance and operational requirements. This role must collaborate effectively with internal global security, privacy, data protection, engineering, and business stakeholders and must be able to work efficiently in a high paced alert triage environment.
Job Responsibilities
Gather and document requirements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of privacy operations processes
Collaborate with regional and global privacy operations, engineering, compliance, and business functions as needed to design and deliver technical solutions to meet compliance and operational requirements
Proactively identify opportunities to streamline work processes and enhance operational tools to optimize operational efficiency
Monitor, respond, and resolve privacy requests across various intake channels in accordance with defined SOPs
Maintain response and resolution service levels and high availability to meet operational objectives
Job Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree or higher in information systems, computer science, cybersecurity, or related field of study or equivalent work experience is preferred
Process optimization experience through AI/ML, preferably in an e-commerce and privacy context
Knowledge of data privacy standards and regulations such as CPRA, GDPR, LGPD, ISO 27701
Relevant privacy certifications (e.g., CIPT, CIPP/US, CIPP/E) are highly desired
Experience in a service desk or similar operational role is desirable
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex and technical issues to all levels of personnel
Detail oriented and highly organized, with the ability to thrive in a global, fast‑paced environment and prioritize accordingly
High level of personal integrity, with the ability to professionally handle confidential matters and exudes the appropriate level of judgment and maturity
