Join us on this meaningful journey where your skills, compassion, and dedication will make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve. JOB TYPE- FULL-TIME NIGHTS - Med/Surg This position coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, acts as a patient advocate and works as part of a team with ancillary and non-nursing departments.

You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing. Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.Essential Functions Additional Information1. Assesses the patient's condition and nursing care needs2. Sets goals and prescribes appropriate nursing interventions to meet physical, psychological, social and rehabilitative needs of patients3. Develops individual nursing care plans4. Implements care plans and makes revisions as needed5. Evaluates patient care outcomes6. Collaborates with physicians and other hospital employees7. Administers medications, treatments and therapies.8. Communicates with patients and oversees provision of care.9. Provides patients and/or family with instruction and education relevant to condition.10. Accurately documents nursing observations, assessments, medications, treatments, and other care given.Nonessential Functions1. Maintains facility equipment, supplies and work areas.2. Assists in the orientation of new employees3. Coordinates and supervises activities of employees and department operations4.
