  • Assignment Details
  • Start: ASAP (ideal start February 2026), ongoing
  • Coverage type: Clinic + Call
  • Schedule: Full-time; 1.0-0.8 FTE expected
  • Clinical time: 0.8 FTE OB/GYN (OB, GYN, surgery)
  • Medical director time: 0.2 FTE to stabilize department, implement workflows, mentor providers, and assist in search/interviews for permanent director
  • Practice setting: Inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth
  • Clinic patient volume: 18-24 patients per day
  • Rounding: Assigned inpatients on L&D and postpartum
  • Call: Beeper call; 1:5 rotation; 20-minute response time
  • Beds in department: 14
  • EMR: Epic
  • Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90-120 days (expedited possible with clean history)
  • Expected minimum commitment: At least 0.8-1.0 FTE
  • Clinical Details
  • Full-scope OB including low- and high-risk pregnancy
  • Fetal heart rate interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
  • OB ultrasound - performance and interpretation for viability studies
  • Routine deliveries including vaginal and low forceps
  • Decision-making for and performance of cesarean sections
  • Management of complicated deliveries including breech, multiple gestations, abruptions, and VBACs
  • Repair of 3rd and 4th degree perineal lacerations
  • Office and minor gynecology including IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, and related procedures
  • Surgical gynecology including open cases, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures, and major operative cases (ectopic pregnancy, oophorectomy, cystectomy, extensive adhesiolysis)
  • Laser capability preferred
  • Telehealth visits incorporated into clinic mix
  • Supervision of a large multidisciplinary team that includes RNs, MAs, APPs, and office staff
  • Requirements
  • Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Active Washington license or IMLC
  • BLS
  • Minimum two years of leadership experience (medical director, section chief, or similar)
  • Comfortable with full-scope OB and GYN, including major surgery and complex deliveries
  • Experience mentoring and collaborating with other physicians and advanced practice providers
  • Ability to work full-time (0.8-1.0 FTE) for the duration of the need
