Neurosurgery Opening in Saginaw, MI Midland 20m; Detroit 100mSeeking a full-time Neurosurgeon to join a rapidly expanding, multidisciplinary neuroscience team. Candidates with neuroendovascular training or experience are highly preferred. 650-bed regional hospital and Level II Trauma Center Join a robust neurosciences program with an established team of 3 neurosurgeons and 4 medical neurologists Strong support from neuroradiologists, physiatrists, and advanced practice providers Opportunity to perform a wide range of cranial and spinal neurosurgical procedures Preference for candidates with fellowship training or experience in neuroendovascular surgery Serve a high-volume emergency department ( 100,000 visits/year) Dedicated 10-bed Neurotrauma Critical Care Unit Practice within a Primary Stroke Center working toward Comprehensive Stroke Center designation Access to advanced neuroimaging and state-of-the-art surgical and diagnostic technology Collaboration with a regional rehabilitation hospital joint venture for stroke rehabilitation, neuropsychology services, and inpatient rehab Optional opportunities for teaching, mentoring, and medical education Physician-led culture emphasizing teamwork and clinical excellenceCall & Schedule Call responsibilities expected, consistent with hospital trauma/stroke center needs Weekend call likely included as part of group rotationCompensation & Benefits Competitive salary (commensurate with experience) Relocation assistance provided Loan repayment potential (negotiable) Comprehensive benefits package typically including: Medical, dental, and vision coverage Retirement plans Paid time off and continuing education support Access to advanced facilities, technology, and clinical programs Opportunities for leadership, professional growth, and program development Employment within a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) system (may qualify for PSLF)Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible (0-5 years post-residency) in Neurological Surgery MD or DO degree Documented expertise in cranial and spinal neurosurgical procedures Neuroendovascular fellowship training or experience - highly preferred Active Michigan medical license or willingness to obtain DEA - must be obtained prior to start CSR/CDS - must be obtained prior to start
