Schedule: MondayFriday (6:30 AM3:30 PM) + Rotating Saturday (6:30 AM10:30 AM)
End Date: 4/30/2026
Hours: 40 hrs/week
Pay Rate: $18.62- $20.71/HR
Join one of the most respected names in diagnostics! Were looking for a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist I to provide excellent patient care and accurate specimen collection at our Clermont Patient Service Center in Clermont, FL.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform quality blood draws on patients of all ages pediatrics through geriatrics
Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection
Prepare specimens for lab testing following established procedures
Maintain required documentation and records
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment
Demonstrate organizational commitment and provide an excellent patient experience
Follow established practices to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and process excellence
Requirements:
Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience required; 1+ years preferred
Excellent pediatric and geriatric draw skills
Ability to provide accurate, error-free work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Must be flexible and available for weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed
High school diploma or equivalent required
Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
Phlebotomy certification preferred (required only in CA, NV, WA)
TB and color vision screening may be required
Must be able to stand for extended periods
Keyboard/data entry experience required
Reliable transportation is a must. Candidate must live within a 2025 minute commute to the site. Excessive absenteeism/tardiness is not tolerated. Candidates must be available to work all scheduled hours and remain for the full shift.
