Thinkit Resources is hiring: IT Operations Manager (Atlanta) in Atlanta

My client is seeking an experienced and motivated IT Operations Manager to join their growing team. In this position, you will report directly to the IT Director and play a key role in shaping the IT Operations across the US and Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate IT Operational Staff throughout the US and Canada.
• Establish and build our IT Operations Team.
• Collaborate closely with the IT Director, Director of IT Development, IT Operations Manager LATAM, and Group IT Operations Director in Europe.
• Oversee the management and distribution of Service Desk tickets (Levels 1, 2, and 3).
• Handle hardware procurement, setup, and decommissioning.
• Ensure all IT assets are accurately recorded in Jira Asset Manager.
• Manage projects and track progress using Jira.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all processes in Confluence, ensuring adherence to global IT operational policies.
• Participate in mergers and acquisitions across the US & Canada.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in team management, escalation management, and service provider management.
• Strong background in order, invoice, and license management.
• Skilled in central consolidation of IT projects and understanding project interdependencies.
• Experience implementing corporate guidelines and ISO processes.
• Completed degree in Computer Science or comparable training/experience.
• Managerial experience in IT support and infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability in project management and leading teams.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with a hands-on approach.
• Broad IT operations knowledge, with experience in Microsoft RDP, Azure, Networking, and Atlassian Jira.
