Are you a hands-on Production Manager ready to lead a talented team and drive change in a dynamic, growing custom architectural millwork shop? This is your opportunity to make a significant impact optimizing operations, streamlining processes, and mentoring a motivated crew in a 65,000 sq. ft. facility serving a booming Austin market.

About the Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Director of Operations , youll oversee approximately 22 shop employees across machining, finishing, and shipping departments. Youll be expected to learn their process, identify bottlenecks, and introduce improvements that elevate quality, efficiency, and morale.

This company takes pride in producing high-end custom millwork and is eager to grow toward more veneer-driven, premium projects. Youll play a key role in achieving that transformation.

Key Focus Areas

  • Be a driver of progress fostering positive change through teamwork and sound judgment.
  • Partner closely with leadership to optimize Innergy usage from start to finish.
  • Understand Microvellum and shop machinery.
  • Strengthen housekeeping, production flow, and KPI visibility.
  • Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement .
  • Balance time 50/50 between the shop floor and office.

  • 56 specialists
  • 35 finishing
  • 35 shipping/delivery
  • Dedicated materials and finishing support staff
  • Hours: 6:00 a.m. 2:45 p.m.

Compensation & Benefits

💰 Salary: $100K - $125K

🎯 10% bonus potential (2025 cycle aligned for payout)
