SUMMARY:
The Director of Digital Banking will play a critical role in driving the execution of BankUnited's retail digital transformation strategy. The ideal candidate should have experience in similar roles and adopt a collaborative, hands-on approach. This position will oversee the conception, delivery, maintenance, and ongoing innovation of the Bank's digital platform. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the current functionality within the Bank's digital platform and identify opportunities for innovation. Research industry trends, application options, and vendor offerings to support BankUnited's digital transformation. Build and manage a product roadmap that offers a differentiating digital banking experience, enhances customer engagement, and maintains relevance in a rapidly evolving environment. Define product initiatives for new features and optimize existing ones. Prioritize customer needs and develop/manage features that improve the digital banking experience. Manage the cross-channel client experience. Provide leadership and oversight, including hands-on development and execution, for all digital products and services. Oversee daily management of the Bank's digital offerings. Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to define needs and deliver solutions. Monitor competition and emerging trends to ensure BankUnited remains at the forefront of digital banking. Develop and lead an innovative, forward-thinking team. Effectively communicate project status and challenges to executive management. Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, including anti-money laundering regulations such as the Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act. Adhere to Bank policies and complete required training. Identify and report suspicious activity. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise functions, projects, services, and/or employees as applicable. Conduct responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and laws. Responsibilities include hiring, training, performance appraisal, coaching, rewards, discipline, and resolving employee issues. EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred. EXPERIENCE 7-9 years in digital product strategy and transformation required. Experience in financial services preferred but open to similar roles outside the industry. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Proven success in project management using Agile methodologies.
