$24 Position Summary This is a technician-level role focused on the hands-on execution of routine laboratory procedures. It is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable with repetitive tasks in a collaborative lab environment. This position does
not
involve research, strategy, or leadership responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Arrive promptly at 7:00 AM and maintain consistent attendance. Collaborate effectively in a team-based lab setting. Communicate respectfully, clearly, and professionally at all times. Support the execution of standardized laundry product performance tests for prototype evaluation and advertising claims. Perform routine testing procedures (e.g., stain removal, fabric softening) after training. Follow detailed standard operating procedures for washing, drying, staining, and test preparation. Prepare test materials independently (e.g., labeling fabrics, preparing stains). Operate laundry machines and basic lab instruments. Communicate with test requesters to clarify product details and test setups as needed. Ensure consistent and accurate stain application and quality testing outcomes. Maintain laboratory cleanliness and monitor supply inventory. Assist in basic data collection and compilation for review by senior scientists. Support restocking and inventory management of lab supplies. Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient workspace. Qualifications Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience in a laboratory, production, or hands-on technical role is a plus. Skills
Mechanically inclined and comfortable performing routine, hands-on tasks. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow procedures precisely. Basic computer proficiency (e.g., data entry, documentation). Effective verbal and written communication skills. Physical & Work Environment Requirements
