- Lead month, quarter, and year-end close, ensuring accurate reporting and audit compliance.
- Oversee accounting for inventory, fixed assets, accruals, payroll, cash, and intercompany accounts.
- Manage and develop a team of senior accountants; set goals, provide guidance, and oversee hiring/training.
- Maintain internal controls and policies to ensure SOX compliance.
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to improve inventory processes and reporting.
- Support acquisitions through due diligence, process integration, and accounting setup.
- Serve as primary liaison with internal and external auditors.
- Analyze financial data, prepare reconciliations, journal entries, and ad hoc reports.
- Drive process improvements and cross-department collaboration.
Experience for the Accounting Manager
- Bachelor's in Accounting required; CPA/MBA preferred
- 7+ years of public or corporate accounting experience
- Prior supervisory experience; ERP system knowledge preferred. xrczosw
- Strong Excel skills with ability to manage large datasets.
